Since all cocaine distribution charges are indictable in nature, your case with be directed to the county courthouse in Trenton for resolution. Manufacturing, selling, distributing or possessing cocaine with intent to distribute is either a first, second or third degree crime under N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5. If the quantity being sold is less than a half ounce then the offense is a third degree crime. If you sell at least a half ounce but less than five ounces, the violation is a second degree crime.
