Getting Invalid Evidence Thrown Out and Exploring All Defense Options
In New Jersey, the police have two main ways of collecting evidence in DWI cases: the breathalyzer, also known as the Alcotest, and the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. If either of these tests is not administered correctly, the results can be thrown out so they cannot be used in court.
Our firm includes five lawyers who have been certified to administer the Alcotest 7110 MK III-C and three lawyers who have been certified as instructors in the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.
We understand how these tests work, and we know what to look for to determine whether they have been administered properly. If we handle your case, we will explore all angles for getting the evidence against you thrown out, resulting in dismissal of your DWI charges.
Our criminal defense law firm handles a higher volume of DWI cases than almost any other firm in New Jersey. We defend clients against offenses under New Jersey statutes 39:4-50 (driving while intoxicated) and 39:4-50.4a (refusal to submit to a breath test).
